Matthew Hill Foundation was established in Emeryville, CA as a non-profit organization. The Foundation focuses on raising cancer awareness through unique fundraising efforts and partnering with like-minded organizations.
Over 5 million dollars has been raised since 2009 through No-Shave November, funding education, prevention, & research. The Foundation is fueled by organic growth from participants and donors raising funds to help fight cancer.
Cancer is among the leading causes of death worldwide and MHF, Inc strives to be a part of the future of cancer research and social awareness. The organization has made a great impact on its followers and continues to grow everyday.
The goal of No-Shave November is to grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free. Donate the money you typically spend on shaving and grooming to educate about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle.
The Foundation is proud to announce over 86% of donations were directed towards programs and partnering organizations. Fundraising costs, including payment processing and marketing, accounted for 5.8%, while general & administrative expenses were 3.7%. The remaining funds raised are held as reserves to support future programs.
